The Telangana government has granted approval to Mega Surya Production for revised ticket pricing and additional screenings of the upcoming film Hari Hara Veera Mallu, based on a request submitted by the production house earlier this week.
According to official communication from the Home (General) Department issued on July 21, theatres across the state are allowed to conduct a special screening at 9 PM on July 23 with tickets priced at Rs 600, excluding GST.
From July 24 to July 27, permission has also been given for five screenings per day with a hike of Rs 200 per ticket (multiplexes) and Rs 150 per ticket (single screens), both excluding GST.
In a subsequent phase, between July 28 and August 2, theatres are allowed to run five daily shows with an added charge of Rs 150 (multiplexes) and Rs 106 (single screens) per ticket. These rates are in addition to the existing base ticket pricing in place per G.O. Ms No. 120 and No. 10 of the Home Department.
The revised pricing and extended show permissions apply uniformly across all cinema theatres in Telangana.
